As we continue to build momentum of the Cyber and Security Association, we have begun to update our members with relevant news from around the world.
We strive to provide interesting and pragmatic reading material for our members in the form of a monthly newsletter.
Members can send news to the editor and raise issues in the related fields of activity in order to promote new company developments and avoid potential pitfalls. This information will be found on the Updates from Companies page.
In addition, under the Get to Know the Members segment, we welcome short company introductions of up to 300 words, which, once approved by the editor, will be posted on the company profile in order to strengthen that company's position as an expert in the relevant field.
As mentioned, starting from November the Cyber and Security Association will have regular networking meetings. The next meeting will be held on 23/11/22 at Airport City,
Arcaffee, at 19:00 and we will cover all of the information mentioned above.

WASHINGTON (AP) — The State Department on Thursday ordered the families of U.S. embassy staffers in the Nigerian capital to leave due to heightened fears of a terrorist attack as it repeated a warning for all Americans to reconsider traveling to any part of the country and not to visit Abuja at all.
The announcement came just two days after the department said it would allow nonessential personnel at the embassy in Abuja to depart voluntarily due to elevated security concerns. It did not provide details but the change suggested the U.S. has indications that an attack may be imminent.

At least 100 people were killed and 300 people were wounded by two car bombs in Somalia's capital of Mogadishu on Saturday, Somalian President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud said.
Al-Shabaab, which the Pentagon describes as the "most kinetically active al-Qaeda network in the world," claimed responsibility for the attacks, which targeted the country's education ministry.

Pentagon replacing HIMARS launcher and rocket stocks sent to Ukraine
WASHINGTON ― The U.S. military in recent weeks awarded Lockheed Martin $179 million to replace High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems and Guided Multiple Launch Rocket Systems it sent from its own stockpiles to Ukraine, according to Pentagon data set to be released on Wednesday.
News of the spending, which is part of $3.4 billion in Ukraine-related contracting actions for arms and equipment since the start of the Russia-Ukraine war eight months ago, coincided with Lockheed’s disclosure Tuesday that it’s increasing HIMARS and GMLRS production by nearly 60 percent.
